Homes in Marple

Split-levels
and post-war singles.

Marple’s population grew after World War II. Most homes are owner-occupied single houses, and many have four bedrooms or more.

01
Lawrence Park split-levels

Lawrence Park went up on old farmland, and its builder preferred split-levels. Each half-flight adds a little time, so count the levels you want cleaned.

02
Off Sproul Road

Lawrence Park sits inside I-476, Sproul Road and Lawrence Road. Give us a cross street in your notes so the team finds you the first time.

03
Post-war singles

Marple grew after the war. Older kitchens and baths do best with a deep first visit, then a regular slot to keep them there.

04
Room to spare

Plenty of Marple homes have four or more bedrooms. Rooms that sit empty most of the year can be skipped. List the ones you want done.

Parking + access

Driveways
and cul-de-sacs.

In a snow emergency, cul-de-sacs and snow routes are no-parking.
A free driveway makes cleaning day easy.

Your driveway

Most homes in Marple are single houses. If the driveway is free on cleaning day, say so, and the team won’t need a spot on a main road.

Snow days

During a Marple snow emergency, no car may park on a snow emergency route or in any cul-de-sac. If cleaning day lands in one, keep a driveway spot clear for us.

Behind Sproul Road

Lawrence Park’s streets sit between I-476, Sproul Road and Lawrence Road. A cross street or landmark in your notes gets the team to your door first time.

Local facts on this page: U.S. Census Bureau, ACS 2020-2024, Marple Township, Wikipedia, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, Patch, U.S. Census Bureau, Newtown Township, Delaware County, Upper Darby Township.

Is Broomall a town of its own?

No. Broomall is a census-designated place inside Marple Township, and the Census Bureau defines those as named communities that are not legally incorporated. The name comes from a post office set up to honor congressman John Martin Broomall. Even the township offices use a Broomall, PA 19008 address. We clean all of it, so book with your street address.

Why does my Marple address say Broomall or Media?

Because the post office, not the township, picks the name. Marple once had its own post office, at Springfield Road and Old Marple Road, but it closed in the early 20th century. Today most Marple homes use Broomall’s 19008, and some have Media or Springfield ZIPs. It makes no difference to us: enter your street address and we’ll book you.

Do you clean split-levels in Lawrence Park?

Yes. Lawrence Park was built on former farmland by a builder who preferred split-level houses. With a split-level, every half-flight between levels adds a bit of time, so tell us how many levels you want done and whether the lowest one is finished. A deep clean is the usual first visit.

What if there’s a snow emergency on cleaning day?

Tell us early. In a Marple snow emergency, parking is banned on the snow emergency routes and in every cul-de-sac, and residents are asked not to plow snow back into the street. Most homes here are single houses, so keep a driveway spot clear, or tell us where a car can legally wait.
