Homes in Lower Moreland

Single homes
on real lots.

Lower Moreland’s housing is mainly single-family detached houses, nearly all of them owner-occupied. Plenty have four or more bedrooms.

01
Half-acre lots

Early developments here put four-bedroom houses on half-acre lots. Big houses take longer, so tell us the bedrooms and bathrooms when you book.

02
Farm town to suburb

The township grew from a farming town into a suburb as families came over the city line. Tell us your house’s size and age when you book.

03
Bethayres

Bethayres, often called a section of Huntingdon Valley, is the old center the township has worked to revive. Its houses get the same care as anywhere else.

04
Big bedroom counts

Lots of homes here have four bedrooms or more. List the rooms and floors you want done so we send enough time.

Parking + access

Driveways, snow
and leaf piles.

Most visits here mean a single house with its own lot.
Snow and leaf season change the rules.

Snow emergencies

Every road in the township is a snow emergency route, and once an emergency is declared nobody may park on any of them. On a snow day, tell us if your driveway is free.

Leaf season

Leaves belong at the edge of the property, not in the street, and in collection weeks loose leaves go curbside by 7 a.m. Monday. Tell us if leaf piles block the curb.

By train

Two regional rail stations serve the township, Bethayres on Station Avenue and Philmont on Tomlinson Road. Most visits come by car, so a driveway spot helps.

Local facts on this page: U.S. Census Bureau, ACS 2020-2024, Lower Moreland Township, Wikipedia, The Philadelphia Inquirer, SEPTA.

Is Huntingdon Valley the same as Lower Moreland?

Mostly, for mail. Lower Moreland Township’s own building has a Huntingdon Valley, 19006 address, and Bethayres, a community inside the township, is often called a section of Huntingdon Valley. Part of Huntingdon Valley also sits in Abington. We clean all of it, so book with your street address.

Can the cleaners park on the street in a snow emergency?

No. Every road in Lower Moreland is a snow emergency route, and once an emergency is declared it is unlawful to park on any of them. If your cleaning falls on a snow emergency day, we’ll need room in your driveway. If there isn’t any, call or text and we’ll work out the visit with you.

Do leaf piles change where the cleaners park?

They can. The township wants leaves at the edge of the property, not in the street, and in collection weeks loose leaves must be curbside by 7 a.m. Monday. If piles take up the curb in front of your house on cleaning day, tell us where the cleaners should pull in instead.

Are you close enough to clean in Lower Moreland?

Yes. The township sits right next to Philadelphia, and our home base is Northeast Philly, just over the city line. Huntingdon Pike runs through the middle of the township, so most homes are a short drive for our teams. Book online with your address, or call or text and we’ll find a time.
